In a study of over 800 descriptive traits, “grateful” was rated in the top 4%. So it is a highly valued character trait in others…and ourselves. (Positive Psychology)

Inspiration | Don’t Limit Yourself

Don’t think you can run a marathon? Think you’re past your prime?

Think again.

Two months ago Chris Girbes (you met him in Issue #142) couldn’t swim a single lap in the pool. But he was committed to joining us for the upcoming Triathlon.

Yesterday, he and I went out for an open water swim in swift currents of the Gulf of Mexico - he swam a full mile without coming back to shore.

How did he do it? Nothing out of the ordinary - just put in the work.

A few tips from a swim coach, diligent practice in the pool every week, and a strong “why” (complete the upcoming race).

Easy formula - the hard part is sticking with it. But it’s amazing what we’re all capable of.

Don’t doubt what’s possible - you can do more than you know.
